Please use the below list of frequently asked question and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions or would like to discuss this procedure.
Inverted nipple correction is very effective procedure to elevate retracted nipple into its natural position. It is indicated in patients whose nipples are retracted and sunken in the areolar tissue due to milk-ducts being shorter which prevents nipple to come out.

Procedure is performed under local or very short general anaesthetic and involves division of shortened milk-ducts and special type of purse-string suture to hold the raised nipple in its normal position until healed for the next 6 weeks.

Scars are invisible and mr Kosutic uses re-absorbable suture on the outside, which does not require removal.
Patients are discharged the same day and advised not to sleep on operated nipples for up to 3 months to ensure that repositioned nipples heal adequately. Patients should not wear a bra for 3 months or put much pressure on the operated nipples to ensure they heal well and settle in the normal position.
